The King Ludwig Tour
(Tour 1.1)
From Lake Starnberg (near Munich) to the Royal Castles, using a 4* hotel en route. This program is the mainstay of Coaching in Bavaria's various offerings. Carriages depart every Friday and Saturday at 09.30 a.m. from our farm 30 miles south of Munich, ending every Saturday/Sunday at the castles of Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein at 6.00 pm. Guaranteed departures from mid-May to end-October. Breakfast is included, with lunch and dinner at your own expense. Transfer from, and back to, Munich (hotel, railstation, airport) on request.

Starting from a hotel estate on the easterly hills if Lake Starnberg to the so-called Royal Village of Leutstetten, still the residence of Prince Ludwig of Bavaria, an offspring of the fairy-tale king, around the northern end of Lake Starnberg and to Feldafing, hotel "Kaiserin Elisabeth", where the Austrian Empress Sissi had spent her holidays for some 20 years, further-on through the parkland of Bernried and Seeshaupt back to the hotel estate of Oberambach.

Bavarian Coachmen Meet and Bavarian Folk Festival at Burggen
(Tour 5)
An opportunity to enjoy the Four Day King Ludwig Tour PLUS take part in a "Carriage Meet" in a very small town in Bavaria. You will see some 150 different carriages, coaches and work wagons, and be part of the proceedings during the "Parade of Carriages". Start your smile, and know which side of your face is the most photogenic, because your picture is going to be taken by the hundreds! As if that weren't enough, the route for the return to the Coaching in Bavaria farm is a treat, too. You'll love it! Get the "Carriage Fever" during this fascinating five days tour! Guests arrive on their own or optional transfer the evening before the tour in you first hotel.
